Hi everyone
I know everyone is anxious about receiving your BEDDI, and we are just as eager to sending them out. We have a clearer picture on shipment status now and so here is the latest update:
US Backers
The goods have cleared custom and have arrived our LA warehouse safely. The July 4th weekend delayed the schedule a bit but we are glad that everything arrived safely. The next step is to ship them to Amazon for fulfillment (They can pick and pack much quicker than we can). Shipping to Amazon usually take only a day for small quantity, but since our volume is larger this time, we will need to ship in LTL (Less than a Truck Load). We are filling out the paperwork and preparing the trucking pre-requisite. Anyway, the goal is to send to Amazon on Monday, they will take couple days to process, and hopefully they can start shipping out to individual backers by Friday July 15th. They will send out an email to everyone with tracking info as the shipment is being sent out.
BEDDI in our US Warehouse
International Backers
We have received the 2nd batch of production from factory and the BEDDI have arrived our Hong Kong office. Unfortunately there is no Amazon type fulfillment (with reasonable cost) in HK so our staff will need to pack each order. We should finish packing next week and will use courier to send out the goods (hopefully by next Friday July 15th). With courier service, backers should receive BEDDI within a week after we ship them out. We will also send each backer a shipment tracking email.

Recent backers
Indiegogo has a 10 days cancellation grace period. After the 10 days is up, then we can send you a survey to reconfirm address and get your color preference. So shipment can only be arranged 10 days after you pledged. Thanks for your understanding.
With this plan, most of the backers should receive their BEDDI by week of July 18th. We will post another update next week as we are ready to ship out to package individually. Logistics is taking longer than we expected, and sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience!

Time for another update!
Quality Control
We are inspecting the first batch of BEDDI and everything is under control. There are still some defects, but those are within our expectations, and the factory is working on a CAP (Corrective Action Plan) to minimize future failures. The testing rate is slower than expected as we need to test BEDDI in a "shielding room" to avoid interference.
Shipping Plan
We will ship out the US orders from China to US warehouse next week via sea vessel (which will take around 2 weeks). So the goods should arrive US by end of June. The fulfillment company will then send BEDDI to each US backers. In the meantime, factory will continue to make the international orders which should be ready by end of June too. Then we will courier those out to international backers (except those who expressed the need of using postal service). So all backers should receive their BEDDI in early to mid July

Survey Clarification
Hi everyone, some of you have mentioned that you could not find your record on the backerkit survey. Indiegogo now has a 10-day refund policy, and so your information will only be imported to the backerkit system 10 days after your pledge. So if you pledge today (May 19th), you will get a survey on May 29th. Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience caused.
But we will continue to lock down the ones that have filled out their surveys already. Thanks

Hi Everyone
Sorry for the delay on the update but we have made great progress. We were busy last week at the factory working on the pilot production. We have made 200pcs and are performing quality check at the moment. There are still some minor issues, but we should be on schedule to start mass production next week!

Hi everyone
Been awhile since our last update so want to bring everyone in sync
BETA Testing
We have sent out 20 samples to beta testers and received very constructive feedbacks. In short, most people like their BEDDI, but they have also reported some bugs and usability issues. We have spent the last two weeks fixing a lot of bugs on hardware/firmware and App. We believe we have fixed the major bugs, and are now working on some minor glitches. Our focus is to fix all the hardware and firmware issues as we need to start production soon. We are very glad that we have sent out the BETA units so we can find out all the issues before official shipment. We appreciate all of our testers effort and contribution!
Development
We have finished our Pilot Production (PP) 1 earlier this month, and will start our PP2 in about 2 weeks. Then we will start our mass production in mid May, and then ship out the goods from China in Early June. Depending on the logistics (sea vessel to US and then via local FedEx), backers should receive the units by end of June or early July.
Surveys lockdown
We have locked down the survey on BackerKit since we need to prepare for production and shipment. Some of you have additional purchase and your card will be charged for those additional items. If you have any concerns, please let us know ASAP.
